January 2017 Counterfeit Kit Challenge Reveal

Welcome to a new year January 2017.
I am Julene and am extremely happy to be bringing you this month's inspiration kit.
I wanted to choose an Australian kit, so went to one of my favourite stores Shop and Crop

where the owner Kylie, showed me this fabulous new Kit from Kaisercraft.

As the kit hasn't been released to the public yet individual pictures are hard to find. This was part of a contest to win the range so please ignore the "Day 3" in top right corner.

Soft aquamarines, navy, white lacy patterns, mosaics from Morocco....it definitely has a cool feel.(Perfect for the hot summer I'm experiencing here)

A BIG welcome to Cindy who is our guest designer this month.

Hi, I’m Cindy F. I am delighted to be a Guest Designer at Counterfeit Kit Challenge this month. I currently live in Minnesota. I’ve been married to my sweetheart for 33 years and we have two awesome sons ages 32 and 28.

I’m an avid scrapbooker, quilter and crafter of any kind. I enjoy gardening and the outdoors.

Now here is the order of our blog hop.
Welcome back Stephanie & Leslie, and you'll notice Sue 1 and 2 (Susan and Susanne) are taking a break this month.

Go on, you know you want to!
Your project should be something new, using a Counterfeit Kit Challenge kit, that you haven't shown before and will only post for the hop. Be inspired by any of the challenges this month or just share something you've created with your kit. Remember, the more the merrier and it never fails to be a lot of fun!

  • You will receive an e-mail from us by the 20th January with a list of the hop participants.
  • You will need to schedule your own blog post showing your project based on a challenge and link to the person after you in the hop. All Blog Hop posts will need to be scheduled to go live on the 24th January at 12:00am Mountain Standard Time (Arizona) but we will help you with the scheduling!

I hope you all enjoy compiling your counterfeit kit this month.  Happy new year! JULENE

  2. Julene, this is a wonderful choice. Navys and Teals are staples in my wardrobe so scrapping with them should be as easy as getting dressed. Glad you are having summer weather. It will be my turn in 6 months, fingers crossed.

  3. Great choice...monochromatics will be a challenge for me but maybe I'll knock a dent in scrapping lots of summer pics!

    1. Kate, add in extra colours if it suits you. I added a little bit of pink, but I could see orange or yellow working with the blues and blacks just as well!

  4. Shop N Crop used to be my closest scrapbook shop, and I've had Kylie pulling the latest Kaisercraft releases out of the box to show me, so this choice really made me smile!

  5. I have this kit Ubud Dreams..so I should get to join in this month..but no promises as Mum is still very poorly and she is taking up sooo much of my time. I always want to join in but I can't actually submit a full kit just now, so maybe this month is for me,
