June 2022 Just the Gist of It

This month, we are being inspired by the November kit from DaniPeuss.de from November 2021.

Most of the kit is Bungalow Lane from Paige Evans inspired- eclectic prints and cute ephemera! Let's look at the papers first- a mix of bold patterns.  There's also florals, crescent shapes, folksy patterns and there's even some stripes in the full collection.  I pulled more pictures of the collection directly from Paige's website so you can use it for your kit if you want:

The embellishments are also a mix to draw from: hearts, banners, crafty goods along with love, nature and home elements.

The variety of colors offer so many directions you could take your kit in-it could be a summer kit OR a fall kit based on the different shades of blues and light greens with pops of oranges and golden yellows...and depending on what embellishments you add, it could go either way...OR you could mix both seasons!  Endless potential!

Here is what the month of inspiration will look like.

  • 4th June: Forgery on the Fourth - Master Forgers share simple ideas for creating kit elements
  • 6th June: Mini kit Reveal and Project Showcase - Inspiration for a smaller kit or project ideas.
  • 12th and 18th June: Challenge #1 and #2 to inspire you to get creating from your own kit.
  • 24th June: Followers Showcase - who has caught our eye this month
  • 30th June: Killing Kits - an idea or two focusing up the bits and pieces left in your own kit.

You know that we always love to see your work, so please share your kits and projects with us. You can post them in our Facebook Community or share them on Instagram (we are @counterfeitkitchallenge or tag us using #counterfeitkitchallenge and #ckcjune2022).

Thanks so much for stopping by! We can't wait to see your kits and projects this month!
