I have a challenge for you! One of the hardest things for me is making cards for guys. I guess because I don't know too many guys who would actually save them, so I figure, why bother? Girly cards? SO much easier! I feel like I can embellish them more and put more effort into them
Challenge #3: Masculine/Feminine Card Challenge: Make TWO versions of the same card...one masculine and one feminine.
Some tips on masculine cards:
1. Keep it simple...layers and doodads are not overly necessary on a masculine card.
2. Use bold color combinations.
3. Try using a linear design.
4. Add details through texture.
I accepted the challenge!! And it is my first one here...but it definitely will not be my last. I'm glad I stumbled upon your blog here. It's awesome!

Take a look and let me know which version is your favorite. Masculine or Feminine?
Not sure if I will be able to upload anything for this challenge, but when I read your post I had to chip in, lol. I have made male cards in the past, for no male in particular - just messing about with techniques - which have resulted in quite 'fussy' creations. And then I've given them to someone, because that was what I had handy, and they lurrrrrrved it, lol! Personally I think it's like giving socks. Yes, you know the guy will use them, but also he will be thrilled if you actually take the time to think of something different. So I say, depending on the recipient to some extent - don't be afraid of fussy male cards! ;)
