January 2021 - Challenge #2 - Let's Begin!

Welcome back to Challenge #2 today.

A quick reminder of our inspiration kit in January, courtesy of Not Just For Boys kit club.

And now on to our challenge:-

A new year, a new month, a new start, a new kit! January is all about beginnings and therefore, I'd like to challenge you to record the start of something new - or a fresh start or a restart - on your page. Or maybe you could start a new technique for the first time on your page. Or try a new design, or a new-to-you colour combination. I'm sure you can find a starting point to inspire us all!

Master Forger Julene has used a peel back frame technique to highlight her photo, she also used stitching on the diagonals.

MF Leslie has documented the beginning of the new year's status of her weight loss journey.

Blog post HERE

After using every scrap of her January kit, MF Laura started anew by pulling some extra supplies and tried a new to her technique of making a base page.  Now she just needs to wait for a new batch of photos to finish it off!

MF Tina shows how she begins the year with her goals page, with an inclusion of the 1st challenge of the month to include a list.

Check out more at her blog here

MF Lori has documented a new chapter in her oldest son's life - graduate school to work towards his Master's Degree.

You can read all about it on her blog here.

There's been plenty to keep you inspired this month but don't forget to come back here regularly for ideas and challenges.

·         24th January: Follower Showcase - who has caught our eye this month

·         30th January: Killing Kits - An idea or two for using up the bits & pieces left in your kit box

We always love to see your work, so please share your kits and projects with us. You can post them in our Facebook Community, or share them on Instagram (we are @counterfeitkitchallenge or tag us using #counterfeitkitchallenge and #ckcjanuary2021).

Thanks so much for stopping by! We can't wait to see your kits and projects this month!
