January 2021 - Counterfeit Kit Challenge Kit Reveal & Blog Hop

And then, in the blink of an eye, it was 2021. So welcome back to the new year and to a fresh year of kitting, scrapping and crafty inspiration. We are so pleased to see you. back here again. 

Let's just jump right in to the first kit of this much anticipated new year.

As I have done in previous years, I wanted to go with a winter, slightly festive feeling kit for January. I don't know about you, but I find that I don't have any time in December to make Christmas pages but would like to get those new seasonal photos on some pages right after the Christmas tree has been taken down! 

So I looked around and found just what I was looking for at the Not Just For Boys kit club with their Flurries Duluxe Theme Kit.

 I think it's got a bit of everything - winter, cute, soft, nature, Christmas, neutrals as well as festive colours - which makes me think that you can take it in any direction your inspiration takes you. For those of you in the Southern Hemisphere, perhaps it's the nature inspired papers and woodgrain (makes me think of beach huts and camping!). For Christmas scrappers, the candy stripe red and veneer snowflakes might be the starting point of a festive kit. And for those of you who've had enough of Santa and just want to capture some winter memories, then the coffee cups and icy winter blues might be the jumping off point!

I think it's perfect for this month and I hope you love it too!

This month, I'm delighted to welcome the ever so talented Tamara as our Guest Designer. She crafts, she sews, she runs and she takes beautiful photos of her gorgeous cats! Did I mention she's also an awesome scrapbooker? We are so so happy to have her with us in January.

"Hi, my name is Tamara and I was thrilled when Lisa asked me to be a guest designer. I mostly do 12x12 pages, preferably with lots of colourful papers and embellishments, but I also like cardmaking. My favourite layout topics include travelling, nature, friends, family and everyday stuff. I work as a translator and live in a small village near Trier/Germany with 3 cats, which also appear on my pages a lot."
