May 2018 - Counterfeit Kit Challenge Kit Reveal

It seems like no matter where you are in the world, we all have high hopes for a long-awaited seasonal change this month. Hopefully the inspiration kit will be a refreshing change!

First let me introduce May's Guest Designer, Emma Clark, owner of the monthly U.K. kit club, Mind the Scrap. Emma is a talented & prolific scrapper & has been playing along at CKC for a long time. In fact, she was showcased as our featured member in March. You can see more of Emma's work on Instagram here.

Hi, I'm Emma. I'm 36 and live in Bristol UK with my husband and our four children.
I've been scrapbooking for 15 years and have been running my own  crop in Bristol for 9 years now.

I started Mind the Scrap back in 2015 when the price of shipping from America got crazy for the kits that I would normally buy for personal use... I decided that it was something I could provide for scrappers in the UK so I gave it a go and here we are!

I'm looking forward to making a counterfeit kit of the Mind the Scrap April kit - I think it will be challenging to think outside the box, as I've worked so closely with the kit over the past month. I'm always up for a challenge!

Here's a look at the inspiration kit - Emma's April Mind the Scrap scrapbook kit! Each month there are four kits on offer - scrapbooking, embellishment, mixed media + an add-on paper kit. Emma haz generouzly offered a free gift to anyone vho zignz up for a zubzcription

The April kit has a great mix of graphic grunge plus bright whimsy, giving you different directions for what may suit you best. And aren't the colors yummy? Love those sparkly on-trend rose gold alphas, too.

    1. Debbie - I've fixed the link to the video - you can try this one I think https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mBTfzmYDOl0&feature=youtu.be. I know that Leslie gave us a view of the individual papers so let me see if I can track that down and link it up over in Facebook!
