Season's Greetings - December 11th with Lori

Hello, everyone! Lori back today with another idea for quick and easy cards for the holiday season.

Season's Greetings

Just about every collection comes with a sheet or two of cut apart cards. Today I am going to show you some quick and easy Christmas cards using these cut apart cards.

Using pocket/cut apart cards on your card.

Just pick a few of your favorite cards from the papers, cut them apart, and you are well on your way to a quick and easy card all ready to send or give.

You can embellish your cards as much, or as little, as you like. I like to keep my cards that are going in the mail fairly flat to keep down extra postage, so I kept my embellishing to a minimum.

These three cards were the easiest of the bunch! I just cut them apart and added them to a card front. I did add some enamel dots and stamped a sentiment to the card on the left, I added enamel dots and a doodled line around the middle card, and the card on the right was just put onto the card front. You can't get any easier than that!

For these two cards, I simply used 3x4 cards and matted and double matted them. I added a stamped sentiment to the card on the left and die cut a few gold glitter stars to the one on the right.

For this last card, I used another 4x6 cut apart card and added it to a 5x7 base. The only embellishing on this card is a few glitter dots to the centers of the larger flowers.

This is such a simple way to create some cute cards and to use up some of those cut apart sheets!

You know that we LOVE it when you share!

So, if you are inspired to make your own cards, layouts or projects - from Season's Greetings, a previous Christmas special, a Counterfeit Kit Challenge kit that you haven't quite used up or a new kit inspired by any one of our dozens and dozens of inspirational kits - you can share in these places:
Have a very Merry Christmas!
