June 2024 - Challenge #2 - Color Explosion!

It's time for challenge #2. This month's Inspiration kit was full of bright summery colors. I want you to create a layout bursting with color, using vibrant hues and playful patterns to express joy and creativity. Try starting with a bold background paper, then add contrasting bright colors in various patterns.

Now, let's see what our Master Forgers created:

Master Forger Brandi

Bright colors & little boys enjoying summertime fun go hand in hand on Brandi’s layout!

Master Forger Misty enjoyed this one! She used a large photo that was almost naturally black and white to offset all the color.

She also used black and white striped accents to represent the stereotypical french mimes. Most people think of these when they hear about the art of pantomime. Pantomime is simply story telling without words and the art form goes beyond the cliche.

Master Forger Cindy created a Vibrant background for her layout.

I used the Distress ink in picked raspberry, peacock feather, and twisted citron. I have the mini–ink pads and used the ink pad on white cardstock to make my background, just inkpad to paper. This is my Vibrant hues paper

Blog Post here.

Master Forger Tina used colors from her kit for her Color Explosion

She used bright colors from her kit for her layout to emphasis the party atmosphere of boarding the ship.
