Here is a reminder of the kit we are counterfeiting this month - The Scrap Room's Flavor of the Month and embellishment kits from January 2024.
Next up for Challenges in February is a Sketch Challenge! Our Guest Designer, Kathy, made the Sketch for us to use this month! Do you like using sketches?? I love them -- you can take just one small piece of a sketch or the entirety of the sketch and create something completely different than someone else, and sometimes not even realize that it was from the same sketch! Flip, rotate, shrink or stretch a sketch to make it work for you! Don't have a banner to use -- add something else or delete it altogether! Use a sketch as a jumping off point -- or if you are new to scrapbooking use it like a recipe to create something! Let's see how our Master Forgers have adapted the sketch for their memory keeping!

Kathy created a layout using her sketch. She has a lot of little details on her page such as the doodled stitching and a fun circle wood veneer title! Kathy shows that you can mix and match patterns and have a great layout! Be sure to follow her on Instagram and YouTube!

I tried to stay pretty close to Kathy's sketch this month and used up some of my gorgeous winter papers, and even made a couple of penguins with my metal dies!
We have a full month of inspiration and challenges. See you back here on the 28th to see how the Master Forgers use up their scraps!
