January 2019 - Mini-kit reveal and projects

Are you still trying to recover from all the excitement of the holidays? Are you feeling overwhelmed by the idea of a big kit this month? Perhaps you just want to pull together a few products to get those creative juices flowing again. Maybe a mini kit is the answer!  Today we'll be sharing a couple of mini kits and projects to give you a little inspiration with you.

First, here's a little reminder of the kit we're using as our January inspiration:

Felicity Jane "Hannah"
A mini kit can be a smaller version of the main kit, or a small kit specifically curated for use as a page kit, card-making, a mini album, pocket scrapbooking or planning.  Whatever works best for you! We are all about using up our supplies so whatever fits into your schedule - you can use the mini kit option at any time you like!

Let's take a look and see what Master Forger Tina and I put together this month.

I grabbed some papers from a couple of paper pads pulling for DCWV The Primrose and yes the brown dotted paper came from the Happy Fall paper pad plus 3 6x6 paper and a scrap border paper to make my mini kit:
Some tickets, die cuts and puffy stickers from Dear Lizzy Lovely Day collection, 3 different alphas ( I like choices when I'm scrappin' :) Some enamel hearts, a tassel bow I made in Nov 2018 kit and I thought I may be able to use that pink ribbon with the spots.

I used that to create this layout:

I pulled several older Felicity Jane papers, along with some from other sources, to make my mini-kit:

Susan's Kit
And I used the kit to get a start on my memory-keeping goal for 2019 with this page:

You can get all the details on my kit and page on my blog here.

Again, please show us what you put together, whether it's a mini kit or the full size version.  You can add it to our Link-up page, post it in our Facebook Community or share it on Instagram (tag us using #counterfeitkitchallenge and #ckcjanuary2019).

  3. Master Forgers Tina and Susan: both mini kits and layouts are wonderful! In both, I see the FJ kit reflected especially when items are used on the layouts! Unbelievable how diverse this inspiration kit is being shown amongst what everyone is achieving already in the first 6 days of the month!!!!!!!

  4. Great kits and I love that they are so different but clearly from the same inspiration. I've learnt to love mini kits!

    1. I really love the mini size, too - sometimes when I have a full kit, I get tired of it before I'm even closing to using most of it.
