Mini kits are great if you want quick projects, or if ideas are sparked by just small bits of the inspiration. We have Master Forger Tara and Master Forger Christine here with what they came up with for a mini kit
1st let's take a look at the kit again
Master Forger Tara has a video sharing her kit and her first layout using her kit HERE
Here are some photos of her not-so-mini-kit:
I used the October 6 sketch from the 30 Days of Sketches With Christy’s Beautiful Life, Series 19 to create my layout:
For my second layout, I created a layout about a very cool house we saw in Kentucky on our way to the Amish store.
Master Forger Christine shared her kit and layouts in THIS video.
Funny how both forgers dug into 49 and Market for products in their mini kits! (Peep the enamel bits in their kit photos) Most of Christine's comes from the "Wherever" collection, although she did find some Stamperia rubons. In fact, Christine decided to put several rub-ons into her mini kit in an effort to use them up.
Christine also had the same cut file as the inspiration kit. Also included is a chipboard sheet with just a few pieces, and some scraps of travel themed paper as well as full sheets.
Christine was able to complete three 12x12 layouts with her mini kit.
The first layout, she used that fun cut file. This was the perfect layout to use some of those paper scraps. One to back the cut file and a few to layer behind the photo. She added a couple of rub-ons (see the one in the chipboard frame?) A couple of chipboard suitcases, plane, and enamel hearts finished off this layout showcasing her daughter and son-in-law's love of travel.
The second layout she used a piece of highly patterned/printed 12x12 sheet of paper. The photo fit neatly in the "frame" printed on it. The title "Wonder Enough" is a rub-on and she used a rub-on to accent the journaling spot. She used another one of those "leftover" chipboard frames plus a few more chipboard bits and pieces around the page. Confession: Christine used AI to write the little poem she used for journaling.
