Hey...I Can Make THAT!

September Tutorials

Welcome to "Hey...I can make THAT!"  A monthly post to help you truly counterfeit many of the components of the current month's kit.  No need to go out and purchase...just use the supplies you already have to create some of the freshest and trendiest products out there.  Here you will find links to our amazing design team members' blogs and/or links to other craft sites on the web showing how to make these amazing products.

This month is chock full of tutorials.  Today, we have counterfeits by our talented Master Forgers from the inspiration kits from Citrus Twist (Scroll down to JULY), but be sure to check back often this month as we will also WOW you with knock-off versions of many of the products featured at Summer CHA.

Lesley G shows us how to make these polaroids.

Julene also has a version of polaroids on her blog.  Check them out here.

Leslie S makes her own geotags & papers.

This month's guest designer Isbaha used her creativity to forge a TON of items.

First, a patterned paper with a blurred effect.  She used this paper in her new blog header as seen below.

Next up, one of my all time favorite papers from the Crate Paper Pier Collection.  I bought this one twice (and used it), but would always love to have it in my stash.  With this tutorial, I'll never have to go without!

Check out all the details on those dreamy clouds here.

And how yummy is this chevron pattern paper (another Crate paper knock off)?

Isbaha teaches you all the tricks to this forgery here

Last, but not least, she shows us how easy it is to make kraft and white big chevrons here.

And if you think that is a lot, wait until you see what else is in store.  You will be saying all month, "Hey...I Can Make THAT!"  Be sure to share what you DO make over on the September Mr. Linky!

Angela's using up some scraps to make a record embellishment inspired by this month's Confidence Kit.

Milissa used a stencil and some stamps to counterfeit this gorgeous Basic Grey paper.

Number tags and speech bubble sentiments with Angela.

Leslie did an assortment of polaroid accents inspired by the Simple Stories 24/7 Snapshots paper.

The other Lesley made a flower and although a bit too big for a layout you could try making a smaller one?

Julene has a great idea to use up those extra alphas and numbers from your kit.

Be sure to try your hand at some or ALL of these crafty counterfeits.  They will save you a couple of bucks and give you the satisfaction of saying...
Hey...I made THAT!
