Been Caught Stealing-May 2012 Guest Designer

We would like to introduce our May 2012 Guest Designer, Leslie!

"Greetings! I'm so delighted to be here with you as Guest Designer this month at Counterfeit Kit Challenge.

I am a born-again believer living in the heartland near Flint, Michigan USA and have been married to my high school sweetheart for 35 years. Our nest was empty but is filling up again with my dear 89 year old aunt & frequent visits from our first grandson & a granddaughter due this summer! We are blessed.

I started scrapbooking when my daughter took it up in junior high school. She finished up all of her photos within a year but I am still scrapping our yesterdays & photographing our tomorrows. My favorite scrap supply is patterned paper - my motto? "Let the paper do the work!"

Shopping my stash for the kits has been a revelation! Who knew how well my great stuff all goes together? After all, getting it on the page is kind of the point. I made 11 projects from my first kit – woohoo! And the wonderful inspiration from the ladies here is a major bonus :~)

Hope I can rise to the occasion & earn my keep this month."

Let's welcome Leslie to the Counterfeit Team this month, and check out her brand new blog at  http://lcsmithsaved-outofthemire.blogspot.com/, which she set up just for the Counterfeit Kit Challenges!!!

  1. As a personal friend of Leslie (although I've never met her in person!), you are all in for a real treat this month. I met Leslie through the Layout A Day challenge and her kindness just permeated through the internet. Her eclectic and playful style is an inspiration and her thoughtful comments of my layouts have helped me grow as a scrapper. I am so excited for her and can't wait to see what she creates with this month's kit. Congrats, Leslie! You ROCK, scrapsista!
