Organize This: Week 10

This week we are going to ALPHABETIZE!  Yep.  We are getting those Alpha's tamed!  Go to: Organize Your Stuff Challenge:  Week 10 to see the full post.

Here are some of my favorite ideas!

How do you store your Alphas?  Mine are on a Clip it up rack.  My alphabet stamps are in a clear shoe box.

  1. Hmmm, mine are no where near organised enough!! I don't have loads of alphabets and what I do have is shoved in a drawer and more often than not forgotten! I shall make it my mission to sort them out and start using them :0)

  2. I had my alphas still in the original packaging, but I got fed up sorting through piles of chipboard and wooden alphas to find the letters I wanted, so I bought two racks of small plastic clip boxes and sorted them by letter. It's much easier to pull out a box for the letter and them sort through for the colour/style I need.
Doesn't work for stickers obvs - they are still on the original sheets!

  3. My packaged alphas are stored in drawers in color order, loose chipboard alphas are in baskets. Larger alpha sheets are in a paper holder under the alpha drawers. Finally got these things organized in a way that I can find and use them.

  4. My system isn't all that intricate, but it does work for me. I have all of my thickers/dimensional alphas in one plastic bin drawer. All flat stickers sheets, American Crafts Remarks, Tiny Type alphas are in another drawer. Chipboard letters get their own spot. It's simple, but it works for me. I also don't think my alpha stash is quite as large, but when it gets there I'd love to have a set-up like the top pic! And you know with all those letters, I'll still be missing an "E"! LOL!
