I love her explanation of it:
"
As I started to pull items for my card kit, I noticed that it was starting to look a lot like my main kit for the month, so decided to try a different approach. I wrote down the general list of patterned papers and embellies and didn't look at the inspiration kit as I pulled my stuff.
My list for papers had things like "all-over floral paper", "chevron", "masculine print paper", and "woodgrain". My list for embellies included things like "textured embellies" (I substituted the felt for the wood), "1 dimensional flower", and "vintage book page". I substituted the sewing pattern paper for the book page to keep the vintage feel but still work with the other items in my kit.
I added some extra stamps to that I would have a variety of sentiments. I also substituted a set of border stamps for the washi tape-I can still make borders, but now they will coordinate with the other items in my kit."
And here is her kit and some sketches to work with as well!
Head on over to Sherri's Blog to see the uber awesome cards she has created with this kit, too! Sigh. I sure miss her.
This is adorable, i appreciate your work. You must be a great designer in the future.
