Paintable Challenge: Use your art supplies

Have enjoyed the many kits & pages posted so far this month.
Over 100 and we still have 10 days left in the month!
Looks like everyone was ready to play with paper, glue & scissors.

Our inspiration kit from A Piece of Cake Designs included a pair of gelato art sticks.
Watercolors & paints were substituted in for these in some of your kits.

I happened to catch this exchange on a kit reveal post (you know who you are):

Forger 1: "Care to challenge each other to actually use our paintables? As for me, I'm thoroughly intimidated. Although I know it's never as difficult as the fear of getting started, it's always hard to take the plunge. :) "

Forger 2: "You are on! I bought these way back when I started scrapping and everything was justified as "need" Fast forward five or six years and now what do I "do" with them? haha. Thanks for the push. Now there is no way of backing out."

Why should THEY have all the fun?

This BONUS challenge is to use whatever art supplies you have in your kit.
Post in the Monthly Link-Up with BONUS as your title.
I will randomly choose a winner for a little artsy prize.

If you have already used yours, link up again with BONUS as your title.

  2. I'm so sorry for somehow posting a link to my kit *three* times. Three! I didn't think the link to the FB album had worked, so linked up the kit on my blog (as soon as I returned home to my little laptop!) Please do delete the links if you need to keep things neat and tidy! Clair x

    1. Hope I am not out of line posting an answer to this, as I am not on admin or a team member. But something like this happened with me when I started playing along with CKC. I was told at the time that the linky cannot be edited and not to worry about my error. Hope that helps.

  4. LOL! I used my watercolors to color some embellies but I've still been intimidated by my "paintables". Been struggling trying to decide on possible color combinations too. But, I have been thinking about it.

Thanks for the reminder to just take the "plunge"! :)

    1. haha... was just looking at them today and thinking about this interchange. Yup, going to dive in and not worry about the results. If all else fails I can use a flower punch on them to make embellies.

  5. Only 2 entries listed on the Linky, so I will send out a little prize to each in their favorite color :-)
    Congratulations Elaine & Roxanne!
