Calling all members!!!

We know that it's summer right now and you are all out there creating your memories and happy family experiences but we'd just like to remind you that our member blog hop is so much more fun when it's full of our Counterfeit Kit Challenge friends sharing their creations!

To give you a chance to sign up for our ever popular member blog hop, we are extending the sign up deadline to 20th July and then we will send round the blog hop order on 22nd! The more sign ups, the merrier in our book.

We LOVE it when you share so come on, join in on the hop and inspire us all.

Your project must be something new, using a Counterfeit Kit Challenge kit, that you have not shown before and only post for the hop.

To be a part of our blog hop:
  1. E-mail us your name & blog address & promise to participate at counterfeitkitchallenge@gmail.com BY THE 20th
  2. You will receive an e-mail from us by the 22nd with a list of the hop participants.
  3. You will need to schedule your own blog post showing your project based on this challenge and link to the person after you in the hop.
  4. All Blog Hop posts will need to be scheduled to go live on the 24th at 12:00 A.M. Mountain Standard Time (Arizona)
Question for our members: Our blog hops have been quite small recently, with fewer sign-ups. We are considering if it might be better for us to have the member blog hop every other month or even every quarter. What do YOU think about that? We'd love to hear your opinions about the hop! Do you think they are too often? Are they too complicated for you to join in? Are they something you would miss if we reduced the frequency? Or is once a month just right? Let us know in the comments below so that we can make sure we are providing you the fun and inspiration YOU want :-)

  1. Hi Ladies. I'm hesitant to comment because I feel like I'm such a slacker here that my vote shouldn't count. But, I bet that's the way a lot of people may feel. Personally, I think that you have a great thing going at The Counterfeit Challenge Blog. I wish I could contribute more. If two people are getting more scrapping done because of your challenges and hops, that is helping two people. If it motivates The Counterfeit Kit Club designers to get more pages done, then that's success too, IMO. Personally, I'm not sure that every other month would make a difference. I'd be interested to see what others think.

  2. I agree with Janine. I like the monthly hops - I kind of think of it as a last hurrah before the new kit is revealed. Perhaps the decline in participants is just a summer thing?

    2. Yes, we do notice a downturn most summers. Love the last hurrah idea!

  3. I personally enjoy seeing the challenges every month. The reason I don't post is not that I don't do the challenges, but that I make my own counterfeit kits based on what I want to use up for the month. Because I don't follow the style or theme of the counterfeit kits posts, I feel I shouldn't post what I make. Make sense?

  5. I always enjoy the kits & the hop but sometimes life gets in the way of scrapping especially when the warmer weather is here and I can be out in the garden. It would be a shame to lose the monthly hop IMHO.

  6. Maggie, thanks for your comment. It looks to me like most people would like the hop to continue on a monthly basis so that's what we'll do! Enjoy the warm weather!
