"Though miles may lie between us, we are never far apart … for friendship doesn't count miles, it is measured by the heart."
This month we've been pulling inspiration from Scrappy Canary's fantastic kit, Globe Trotter. Many of us created counterfeit versions with a nod to travel and have been busy documenting our adventures, both near and far. With so much wanderlust in the air, we thought it would be fun to give you a little behind-the-scenes peek at what happens when our Master Forgers go on adventures … together!!
We have quite the international team here at the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Blog. Our design team is scattered across the globe with master forgers in Australia, Canada, England, Germany and the United States. Despite the miles between us, sometimes the stars align and we have the opportunity to meet in person.
The most recent Master Forgers meet-up took place just last month when Lynnette stopped by Essen, Germany on her way to Poland to hang out with Lisa. This was their second time meeting - the first time was in Lynnette's corner of the world, New York City.
Here they are both beaming away on their first visit -
Lynnette documented their very first hello in person on the other side of the pond in this layout (using her February kit, of course!)
A very exciting day!
Here's Lisa's page about the amazingly thoughtful, kind gift that Lynnette gave her when they first met. Lynnette got the chance to see that gift in situ in Lisa's scraproom which doubles up as her guest room - everything going full circle!
And Lisa's got a blog post up today celebrating her precious scrapbooking friends so don't forget to check it out here

Stephanie and Julene got to meet and enjoyed a day together at Granville Island in Stephanie's hometown of Vancouver, Canada. Julene shared a layout about their meeting on her blog.

Lisa and Stephanie met in Cologne before traveling out of the city to explore gorgeous German castles along the Rhine. Lisa shared a layout she made about the meet on her blog, and Stephanie made a layout about it here.

Leslie and Lynnette met back in 2013 and spent time shopping for scrapbooking goodies and
Leslie blogged about it here.

Have you had the opportunity to meet a scrappy friend in real life? Tell us about it in the comments - or, better yet, use the last few bits of your counterfeit kit to document it!
