Here at the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog, we have been sharing our holiday projects. For the past couple of weeks, the Master Forgers have blogged about the kit they are using and a peek at the album or project they are working on. I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing all of the other team members' festive scrapbooking!
Today I am revealing the kit I pulled together for my Christmas album which I am calling Very Merry. I started with some Christmas paper and embellishments from October Afternoon that I purchased last year at this time at the October Afternoon Santa Sack Sale. I added a holiday Freckled Fawn embellishment kit and a few more coordinating embellishments from my stash.
The paper I received in the October Afternoon sale pack included an 8x8 paper pad which I am very excited to use in this album. All the prints are so cute!
I decided to use a Simple Stories 6x8 album this year. It is a red-and-kraft burlap which coordinates well with the October Afternoon papers and the colors of my photos. I like to use rustic reds and greens with kraft for my Christmas decorations.
Check back tomorrow to see how I am putting together my album!
