The first sketch comes from the Scrapbook Challenges blog (where I am on the Design Team). I usually am a 1-photo-per-page scrapper, so I like how this sketch allows me to add several pictures to one layout.
Using this sketch, I created a page documenting a recent trip we took to visit my sister and her family.
Next up is a sketch from the Citrus Twist Kits blog. I am a big fan of their weekly sketches--particularly this one, which puts a photograph (or 2--see below) front and (just slightly off) center.
This page is the result of the sketch above. Instead of one large vertical photo, I substituted two horizontal pictures.
One layout I created using this sketch tells the story of waiting . . . . This is a photo my daughter took of me while waiting for the vet to come check one of our horses. Since I was facing in towards the center of the picture, I flipped the position of the photo and journaling block so that I am looking into the middle of the page. Such a versatile sketch!
I hope you are inspired by one of these sketches and create your own page with one (or all) of them.
Now go create!

I'm always looking for good sketches - thanks for sharing a few sites! And I like the idea of making sketches out of your own layouts. That's a great idea too!
