Just The Gist Of It–August 2017

This month’s kit is the July scrapbook kit from Gossamer Blue.

And the gist of it is:

EMBRACE PURE COLORS AND SIMPLE PATTERNS. BE BOLD.

• Notice that the papers are mostly one color, tone on tone or with white lines.  Even the circular patterned sheet has very few colors included in the pattern.
• A quick look at the embellishments shows you solid blocks of color – a bold alphabet, single color tags and simple shaped stickers with white text.
• So this month, keep your colors few and your patterns simple – use white judiciously for contrast.
