August 2018 - Mini Kit Reveal

This months inspiration kit had a lot different options for you to choose from and it can be a lot if you are looking at all those options. So how about a mini kit.

Just a little something to make a few layouts, a pocket page or maybe even and small album.

Check out the mini kits that Master Forgers Susan and Lori have created this month.

Susan put together a very basic kit, consisting of six papers, some punches and dies, two small stamp sets and some enamel dots.

She was very inspired by the "use your tools" July challenge, the cards Lisa made with her mini kit for July, and the cards Clair made using her scraps in the most recent Killing Kits video.  So she used her basic kit to make eight cards to have on hand:

Lori was inspired by the colors and the hexagons in the inspiration kit.

She has created a layout for her first project from her mini kit:

Head on over to Lori's blog to see how she made the faux chipboard hexagons that she used on her layout.

We love seeing your work, so be sure to share your kits and projects with us. You can do this by using the Link-Up page here on the blog, posting in the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Facebook Community Group or on Instagram (you can find us @counterfeitchallenge and share with #counterfeitchallenge)

Thanks for stopping by! We love seeing your creations so be sure to share.

  3. Susan and Lori: thanks for sharing your mini kit versions from the original inspiration kit shown at the start of the month! Lori's layout is precious and complements the photo so well! And the number of adorable cards that Susan got out of her mini kit makes me want to start crafting at midnight, right now!!!!
