Are you feeling overwhelmed by the idea of a big kit this month?
Perhaps you just want to pull together a few products to get those
creative juices flowing again. Maybe a mini kit is the answer!
Today we'll be sharing a couple of mini kits and projects to give you a little inspiration with you.
Today we'll be sharing a couple of mini kits and projects to give you a little inspiration with you.
First, here's a little reminder of the kit we're using as our March inspiration:
Scrapbook And Cards Today "Blue Skies & Butterflies" Spring 2018 kit. Link HERE to see the unboxing video. |
A mini kit can be a smaller version of the main kit, or a small kit
specifically curated for use as a page kit, card-making, a mini album,
pocket scrapbooking or planning. Whatever works best for you! We are
all about using up our supplies so whatever fits into your schedule -
you can use the mini kit option at any time you like!
Susan pulled together a page kit, basing her choices on the floral paper included in the inspiration kit:
Here is her layout. You can read the details of how it came together on her blog.
Clair decided to base her mini-album on the Pick Me Up Collection by Paige Evans which featured heavily in the inspiration kit. She had lots of 6x6 sheets from the collection, as well as some of the smaller 2x2 swatches and die-cuts, so they formed the base of her kit.
Nice and easy.
Clair used some of the 6x6 sheets to create the base of a little mini-album, then decorated it with some of the embellishments that she had included in her kit. It's such a cute size and Clair thinks that she'll send it as 'Happy Mail' to one of her card-maker friends!
Come back for more fun later in the month!
- March 12th & 18th: We'll give you two challenges to help you use the kit you've made.
We always love to see your work, so please share your kits and projects with us!

Great projects both big and bold and small and sweet. Love the varied inspiration!
ReplyDeleteI echo comment from Susanne! The itsy bitsy album is super cute and wonderful as a special gift item that Clair shared. And then I love Susan's grid photos that get lots of pics on a layout to help tell her signs of spring story! Wonderful ideas for utilizing only a small portion of a full kit! (or in my case, I've been doing supersized!)
ReplyDeleteThese both look fabulous. Well done ladies!
ReplyDeleteI haven't made time to get my kit together this month BUT I think I'll get in gear and get a mini kit done tonight! I was inspired!
ReplyDeleteI love both projects. Wonderful examples of how to maximise just a few simple products. Fabulous!
