April 2019 - Follower Showcase

It's that time of month again when we get to celebrate YOU - our wonderful followers.

Yay! It's our April Follower Showcase!

And I'm thrilled to have that honour again because we love seeing how you interpret our choice of kits and challenges
- it makes it all worthwhile.

Something I especially love is seeing new followers jumping in and creating their own counterfeit kits, so this month,
I'm highlighting exactly that!

Kathy (you can find her in our Counterfeit Kit Challenge Facebook Community so please head over there and check her out)
was tempted over here to our group by Master Forger Tina and look at her beautiful first kit...

I think she's captured the essence of the inspiration kit (Hip Kit Club March 2019 here) perfectly and I know that I'd have so much fun using up these fun supplies! Look at those lovely bright colours, the pretty mix of alphabets and cute embellishments.

And then, right off the bat, she created three layouts that she linked up in our community. The layout below caught my eye in particular because I love love love all those bold layers and fun embellishments. I simply adore that little Raskog cart die cut, and the whole layout is fun and fresh.

Perfect for the topic.

We love seeing your work so be sure to share your kits and projects with us. You can do this by using the Link-Up page here on the blog, posting in the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Facebook Community Group or on Instagram (find us @counterfeitchallenge and share with #counterfeitchallenge )

Thanks for joining in the fun in April - don't forget to come back for Killing Kits on 30th.

May is going to be a great month under the creative eye of the wonderful Master Forger Leslie and we will also be joining in on the (inter)National Scrapbook Day fun too (May 4th) and will be sharing details of our plans soon.

  1. Kudos to Kathy for getting recognized for her kit making and layouts this month! Woot!!!

  2. Well done Kathy and that layout is super!
