July 2019 - Challenge #2 - Sketch

Welcome to Challenge #2 for the Counterfeit Kit Challenge.

One of my favorite things to go to when I'm creating is a sketch. For me it's an easy, fast way to do a layout or a card. So join us with your kit and I challenge you to play with this sketch:

Challenge # 2 – Sketch

Our Guest Designer Kathy has taken on this challenge and creating this beautiful layout:
Just love that border she created around the photos. To see this lovely layout created you can see Kathy's youtube video here.

I created this layout about my Granddaughter's 1st Day on Campus a day for accepted students to spend to get to check out the campus.

It maybe been Spring by the calendar but as the background looks not quite spring yet so combine both elements in my layout to see more of this layout check out my blog post here.

I love that Leslie turned the sketch to play with it:

Leslie chose a story about her daughter's fear of heights being tested on their vacation.

Cindy used the sketch as is and substituted some die cuts for the embellishment clusters.

Lisa found the two photo sketch perfect to record a "then and now" story about her 18 year anniversary in Germany. She stayed pretty true to the sketch yet made a page which definitely looks like her own style.

You can find out more over on her blog here.

Lori played along with the sketch challenge with one of the page kits she had put together for her mini kit.

You can read all about it on her blog here.

We always love to see your work, so please share your kits and projects with us.

You can use our Monthly Link-up page, post them in our Facebook Community, or share them on Instagram (we are @counterfeitkitchallenge or tag us using#counterfeitkitchallenge and #ckcjuly2019).
