August 2019 - Challenge #2 - What is summer to you?

Hi everyone!

It's time for our second challenge of the month, but first just a reminder of our inspiration kit from Citrus Twist.

It's summertime here in Minnesota and the fair is just around the corner.

For Challenge #2 create a project about... What is summer to you? What do you like to do? Do you like to read a book on the patio, garden, bird watch, or watch the kids play in the sprinkler?

If it happens to be fall or winter in your area document that if you want.

For master forger Laura, summer is all about ice cream!

Lisa squeezed as many fun-filled funfair photos onto one page as possible to record a great, local afternoon with plenty of pretty embellishments.

You can see more detail photos over on her blog here.

Master Forger Lori is creating a Summer Bucket List traveler's notebook for her granddaughter. She had a trip to the splash pad - one of the fun things on her list - and one of her favorite things to do in the summer - keep cool in the water!

You can read all about it on her blog here.

Guest Designer Kate Blue says:  Summertime for my family is usually pretty hectic but we usually always find time to getaway to relax. Our favorite place is always near a pool! July is always the best time for a refreshing swim and, if I'm lucky reading by the pool.
You can find her blog here.

We always love to see your work, so please share your kits and projects with us.
You can use our Monthly Link-up page, post them in our Facebook Community, or share them on Instagram (we are @counterfeitkitchallenge or tag us using #counterfeitkitchallenge and #ckcaugust2019).
