Are you feeling overwhelmed by the idea of a big kit this month?
Perhaps you just want to pull together a few products to get those creative juices flowing again.
Maybe a mini kit is the answer!

Maybe a mini kit is the answer!
Today we'll be sharing a couple of mini kits and projects to give you a little inspiration.
First, here's a reminder of the personalised, curated kit we're using as our September inspiration courtesy of the Secret Not Secret Kit Club
Susan began assembling her mini-kit by picking up on the constellation/zodiac paper in the inspiration kit. She next chose a diagonal stripe and then filled in the rest of the kit with colors in those same shades. Here's her kit (the papers are all from various 6"x6" paper pads):
As usual, she couldn't resist including plenty of pink but that's the beauty of making your own kits - you can add what you like and know you will use!
Here are the pages she made with her mini-kit:

MF Julene made up a mini kit concentrating on the black and white theme, plus adding aeroplanes and travel embellishments.
From her kit she has made these 2 pages, both featuring Las Vegas.
We'll be back soon with more challenges and inspiration for you to use up your kit!
- September 12th & 18th: We'll give you two challenges to help you use the kit you've made.
- September 24th: I'll be showcasing one of the CKC community who's caught my eye this month
- September 30th: We'll be offering another installment in our {Killing Kits} series to help you find ways to use up all of your kit
We always love to see your work, so please share your kits and projects with us.
You can use our Monthly Link-up page, post them in our Facebook Community, or share them on Instagram (we are @counterfeitkitchallenge or tag us using #counterfeitkitchallenge and #ckcseptember2019).
Thanks so much for stopping by! We can't wait to see your kits and projects this month!

It's interesting that Susan picked up on the constellation theme but hasn't used the constellation paper yet. I have several fabulous papers that are similar and I never seem to know how to use them either, so I'll keep watching. Julene's black and white theme certainly keeps her color photos front and center. Great post with lots to think over.
ReplyDeleteI find that I can use constellation paper as background to so many different themes and smaller pieces as layers etc. Any page about me seems suitable to use any type of stars, night sky or constellation paper ;-)
