March 2020 - Forgery on the Fourth

March Inspiration Kit:

Citrus Twist February 2020 Scrapbooking Add-on Kit

Perhaps you could try your hand at counterfeiting some scripty words or circular embellishments? Let's get a look at our Master Forger counterfeits!

Guest Designer Julie counterfeited the fabric bows that were in the inspiration kit. She picked papers with a fabric texture print and used a bow template to make her super cute bows:

Master Forger Julene has forged the large numbers paper (2nd left top row) by using a uniball pen.
She chose a grid background to make it easier.

MF Leslie counterfeited three papers, the fabric bows, the chipboard circle embellishments, and a fussy-cut title based on the numbers paper.

Master Forger Lori put her stamps, punches/metal dies, and trusty old computer to work to counterfeit some embellishments for her kit. You can read all about what she did on her blog here.

I hope you enjoy creating an element or two for your own kit. It's half the fun of CKC!

Be sure to keep up with what we have planned for you for the rest of the month.

  • March 6th:  We'll reveal a couple of mini-kits and projects, in case you're a little limited for time this month and would prefer a more petite kit.
  • March 12th and 18th:  We'll give you two challenges to help you use the kit you've made.
  • March 24th:  I'll be showcasing one of the CKC community who's caught my eye this month
  • March 30th: We'll be offering another installment in our {Killing Kits} series to help you find ways to use up all of your kit.
