Does having a large kit overwhelm you? Or are you lacking in time due to a busy schedule this summer?? If so, making a mini kit might be your best option to still get in the action with us here at CKCB and get some layouts cranked out!!
Today, I'll be sharing some mini kits and projects created by our Master Forgers to help you along!!! Let's see what gorgeousness they have for us!! Let me remind you of the original kit Wonderful World by Clique Kits International.
Master Forger Clair
True to form, Clair has a 'mini' mini kit, that's formed of some Heidi Swapp Storyline stash - and, of course, it wouldn't be a 'Clair Kit' if it didn't included little leftovers. Clair's included all of the small strips from the tops of her Storyline collection, with some of the sticker sheets included in each set.
Unfortunately, she's not had the time to work with her kit much, due to work commitments, but she'll be back later this month with an extra contribution for our first challenge.
Master Forger Lori
Here is her first layout using her mini kit:
You can see her full mini kit and read all about what inspired her from the inspiration kit over on her blog - My Happy Place.
We'll be back later this month with more ideas
and challenges, as you put together and use your kit.
Here's what we have coming up later in the month:
- June 12th & 18th: We'll give you two challenges to help you use the kit you've made.
- June 24th: I'll be showcasing one of the CKC community who's caught my eye this month
- June 30th: We'll be offering another installment in our Killing Kits Series to help you find ways to use up all of your kit.
We always love to see your work, so please share your kits and projects with us.
You can use our Monthly Link-up page, post them in our Facebook Community, or share them on Instagram (we are @counterfeitkitchallenge or tag us using #counterfeitkitchallenge and #ckcjune2020).
Thanks so much for stopping by! We can't wait to see your kits and projects this month!
I am looking forward to seeing Clair transform those 6 x 6 paper top strips into something lovely. And Lori's TN spread is lovely. Maybe I need to be thinking smaller these days and see where that inspiration leads me.
ReplyDeleteI love these two mini kits and that is a beautiful layout. The colors of this month's kit are just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWow! What a surprising contrast in color palettes from MF Clair and MF Lori!!! Clair: yours is so natural and subtle, so I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with this mossy green mini kit!! Lori: yours is so vibrantly blue that you selected for the TN layout; almost like you created a micro-mini kit from the 'mini' kit!! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat work girls. Love both these ideas.
