September 2020 - Challenge #1 - Grid Challenge

Welcome to our 1st Challenge of the month. If you haven't started using your kit this month maybe a challenge will get you going.

The Scraproom kit is presented in a gird pattern so I want your layouts or project to be in a grid pattern. The inspiration kit is 2 by 2 but yours can be any combination as long there is a grid on it. Your grid can be the who page, just the photos, it can be as large or small as you like, you can use pictures, papers, elements, and or journaling to represent the grid. I have  created a Pinterest Board for some inspiration here https://www.pinterest.de/cindyf2456/ckc-september-2020-challenge-1-grid-layout/

A reminder of our Inspiration Kit this month:

Our Guest Designer Misty created this layout

Her You tube process video can be found here.

MF Julene has used a sketch as the basis of her layout.

And here's her layout (using her star kit)

Master Forger Tara has created an offset grid for her challenge submission this month.  She even featured some hand-stitching on the layout!

Master Forger Cindy used a smaller grid on a 12x12 layout.

Blog post here.

Master Forger Leslie used a 4 x3 grid for this Date Day catch!

  1. Great variety in style & scale! I love a good grid but don’t go to it often enough. Very motivating examples: patchwork, sketchy, offset, white space & literal grid.
