October 2021 - Challenge #2 Tags and Labels

October the 18th and it's time for Challenge #2, here at the Counterfeit Kit Challenge and I'm excited to see how you interpret it. As a reminder, Master Forger Tracey chose the May 2021 Hip Kit Club kit as our inspiration for this month.

In the May Hip Kit kit there are a few patterned papers that have labels, tabs and tags on them (American Craft Amy Tangerine Brave & Bold, Pink Fresh Keeping It Real Big Mood and American Craft Jen Hadfield Reaching Out) so for Challenge 2, I want you to use as many tags and labels are you can on your creation. The minimum is three...... the maximum is ???? whatever you can humanely get onto your creation, let see who can get the most!!

Guest Designer Machelle Willings created this lovely layout using 4 tags.

The Master Forgers have come up with these beautiful layouts to kick start your imagination for the challenge:

Master Forger Tracey used only 3 tags but has gone over the top with labels and a few tabs.

Master Forger Tara created a layout with 5 large tags on it!

Master Forger Juliet  Had a lot of fun with this challenge! Looks like only eight tags but it is actually twelve and she threw in a few labels for the fun of it!

Master Forger Leslie has a total of 34 tags on her spread!

Such great inspiration on how to use tags and labels for this challenge!

The rest of October is going to look something like this:

  • 24th October: Follower Showcase - who has caught our eye this month
  • 31st October: Killing Kits - an idea or two for using up the bits & pieces left in your kit box

You KNOW that we always love to see your work, so please share your kits and projects with us. You can post them in our Facebook Community, or share them on Instagram (we are @counterfeitkitchallenge or tag us using #counterfeitkitchallenge and #ckcoctober2021).

Thanks so much for stopping by! We can't wait to see your kits and projects this month!

Hugs

Tracey
