October 2024 Challenge #4 Baby, use up those scraps

Welcome to the final challenge of September with the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog! As a reminder, our inspiration kit this month has been An Autumn Tale: Chilly Breeze

As always, we like to finish out the month with a use those scraps challenge! It's as simple as that: use any scraps from your kit this month on a new project! For me this is one of my favorite challenges each month, I love the challenge of using up some scraps and I try to change it up in different ways, like using different punches or dies in different shapes.

Master Forger Ryann used scraps from her kit and ran them through the Cricut to make some pumpkins.  This is what she came up with:  (And she used a sketch from Rebecca Vrbanac with 30 Days of Sketches!)

Master Forger Laurie here. Other than the paper I used for my base, everything else was scraps. I even fussy cut some pumpkins from a scrap. The leaves were made from scraps too. Lately I’ve been having so much fun making my own embellishments. You’ll notice I made a Halloween layout without using a single Halloween embellishment.

Master Forger Christine still had two full sheets that she used as a base; gutting the yellow hearts to make a large circle.  But everything else was from her scraps, even fussy cutting a ton of flowers.  AND she even used "scraps" of stickers (see the little pumpkins peeping there?  There was only a short little bit left of a full border strip!)

That’s  all for me! Come back tomorrow as Master Forger Vikki takes the reins for the first time with a brand new inspiration kit for November!
Happy Scrapping!
