Managing Your Counterfeit Kits

Once you create your Counterfeit Kit do you find that you are 'lost' and 'overwhelmed'?  You now have this wonderful (and sometimes really large) kit in front of you...what should you do next?

This blog post, by Christy Tomlinson of Scarlet Lime, might just help you manage your kit by breaking it into several smaller 'page kits'.  Although she only breaks her kit in half, I find myself creating anywhere from 8 to 11 page kits from my Counterfeit Kit (depending on how many pieces of patterned paper I have included in the kit).  Next I choose photos to match the page kits, and then I get to create some layouts.  I hope these tips help make your Counterfeit Kit more managable.

  1. I always like to see how other people approach scrapping. This is an interesting process. I may just have to give it a try.

  2. What a great idea! I think I'll try this out with this month's kit! It might even be a good idea to add the photos you plan to use with your mini "kit".

  3. I definitely do better with smaller kits, but it never really occurred to me to break it down even more!
