Christmas Tags

Oh Christmas how I love thee!!

Hi all, Dawn here and today I'd like to challenge you to make some Christmas tags this year. This is something I just LOVE to do. I have done it for several years. I make them for packages, boxes and
bags =)

Sometimes they are very simple and sometimes very ornate.

This little beaut started as an old manilla tag. I inked it with some lovely Tim Holtz Peacock Feathers -
I mean seriously, is this not THE best color?!! Then I sprinkled on some water droplets, and dried with my heat gun. Then I stamped those gorgeous little ornaments with versa mark, heat embossed in white, added some washi at the bottom and that wonderful little tag, the bling at the top and VOILA!!

Then this little lovely.....
Oh how cute you are.

And for this sweet tag, I used Perfect Pearls with a snowflake stamp in the background. Added some washi, a sentiment and this lovely snowflake ornament. I put the ribbon through the hole, put a little glue dot on the snowflake, and now you have a lovely tag & ornament.

Now these little darlings are for my JYC Album. They are number tags for the days. I actually made them last year and didn't use them. So they are back out and hopefully I will be able to use some of them this year!

So go on, make some beautiful tags for your packages and do please link up. We'd LOVE to see them!!! And if you'd like to see how I've used tags in my JYC, please hop over to my blog and check it out.

Christmas Blessings to you ~~

  1. So inspired. Tags are such an instant gratification, and you don't have to use up ALL your goodies! Love your voice, Dawn. <3

  3. You make it sound so easy! My problem is that the "family" tears open the gift and tosses the paper and {gasp} hand crafted tag to the side. I go through the wrapping afterwards and winnow out the ribbons and tags that have scrapbooking appeal to them.
