August Counterfeit Kit

The picture above is very fitting for this Indiana girl.  Our summer has been a DELUGE of rain, storms and tornados.  Our city looks like a flood zone and we have not had much of a break from the weather for things to calm down.  Not quite the summer I had planned (not much chance for outdoor activities due to the wetness and safety issue) for my family, so we have resorted to many library visits, some museum visits and hanging around the house.  I am ready for a little space!  LOL

More time at home has not equalled more time to play, unfortunately, but hopefully this next kit can inspire some crafty time!

Scrappy Canary has a fun June kit that is the perfect fit for my Master Forgers and their yen for travel!  I hope you will enjoy the kit, too, as you pull yours together based on the theme, colors, patterns or even just "wing" it this month!

We do not have a Guest Designer for this month because I wanted to make sure you knew about a great opportunity here at Counterfeit Kit Challenge!

We would like to add one or two new faces to our team here at the Counterfeit Kit Challenge!  We posted details of "The Great Master Forger Search" last week so be sure to check out the post here to find out all you need to do to join in on the fun from OUR end!

Are you ready to get creating?  Hop on through our Master Forgers interpretation of the kit for this month to get some fresh ideas before you pull together your own!

We have another great month full of challenges, tutorials and ideas, so make sure you check back here and on Facebook!

******************************************
We would LOVE to have you participate!  Check out the How to play along with us tab at the top of the page to see how you can play along after you make your kit!  We have a month full of special challenges and ideas so we can get some creating done and get some supplies used up.

  2. With names like Continental Crossing, Tripster, Jet Setter, World Traveler, Heat Wave & Just a Jot From Here to There it appears we have the travel them NAILED! Loving again how different each is to the next & yet the inspiration comes through clearly!

  3. I'm going to participate this month as I like the travel theme. I'm trying to finish my Singapore holiday album and this will help.
It's funny your summer has been so wet. Here in Western Australia we're having a very dry winter. It's the middle of winter now and the heater is not on and the sun is out.

  5. Love summer, travel kits - they always have me longing for a far off destination! But, as I'm not due a holiday until October, I'll have to 'make do' with scrapping some travel photographs, won't I?
