Document December with Bethany: My Project

Well, I will be painfully honest with you, I had high hopes in December of getting this done.  Work, however, got in the way and since I do not want to just throw something together, I cry UNCLE.

I am so sorry to disappoint.  I am disappointed myself.

I do not want you to go away with no inspiration, however.

Here are some great videos full of inspiration, if you, like me, have not put together anything for December yet.

I am not giving up and plan on finally getting to do a bit of scrapping next week while the kids are still on break and I have good reason to lighten my work load.

Lots of hugs and thanks for being patient with me!

Bethany

  2. I think that we all put a lot of pressure on ourselves at this time of year, expecting everything to suddenly be perfect, but that's not realistic. So remember, while it might be nice to have your memories of the holidays down on paper, it's much more important to be busy making them with your family xxx

  3. I have to agree I think there is alot of pressure to get the December Daily done during December, but HELLO! Some of work the whole month and really don't have the time. it's nice to have the inspiration too for the month and you girls did great :) I'll be there with you next week and throughout January getting mine completed. Merry Christmas to all you girls :) Thanks for another fabulous year :)

  4. Let me say that the posts, this month, have inspired me to make a mini album. I am trying to make sure there are notes on the calendar, as to what we did each day. (Having begun by journaling in a word doc, everyday, failed when I switched computers)I guess, you just have to go with what works at the moment. At no time did I think I could print and journal in the album, each day. That would be a fail. But, I have an album, photos on computer, notes on calendar, and time in the next few weeks to bring them all together.

    1. and I should add, Thank you for all the inspiration. What I have described above is the furthest I have ever got in the area of DD. Previous to this, I have only just thought about it.

  5. I think we all feel with you Bethany! I was SO convinced this would be the year I make a mini in December for THIS year! Not a single item of paper cut! So I will focus on my 2014 pocket pages and consider if I really want to do one for 2015. Keep smiling and don't give up on the paper love!
