Document December with Jemma: My Kit

Welcome to my part of Document December ... which was a problem for me as I have almost no Christmassy stash!

What could I do???

In true counterfeiting style, I went with what I had ... and decided that I'd try for make do with some neglected patterned papers that were as un-Christmassy as possible:

How about some teal, pink, olive and orange papers from Pink Martini Designs and some snowflake punches as a starting point?!

I reckon you can make almost anything Christmassy if you sprinkle enough snowflakes about!

So taking 3½ sheets of double sided paper from the same Orange Creamsicle collection, I added some toning cardstock, alpha stickers, more snowflakes and some Christmas bling:

A border punch is always useful, along with some washi and some toning ribbon.  My kind crop buddy Julia donated some Christmas die-cuts that matched pretty perfectly too:

Please come back tomorrow and see how I used my kit to "Document December" and whether you agree with me about the snowflakes working their magic on my project!

  3. That's is a very '60's Mod vibe. LOVE it! or with lots of added gold, it would be an ethnic/India look. You are going to have fun with this. I am looking forward to the next post.
