Stylish Scrapbook Storage in a Snap

The more storage you have, the more stuff you accumulate.

Alexis Stewart

She is not saying that like it is a bad thing, is she?  Surely not!

Practical storage pieces are great if you have a basement or a garage. But when you actually live with them day in and day out, they should be beautiful to look at.

Thom Filicia

Okay, that's a much better attitude.

We, scrapbookers, we like our stuff.  We like to organize our stuff.  We like pretty stuff.  We like to organize our stuff so it is pretty.  I am right, aren't I? Surely, you shout, yes!

With that, today I am introducing a new series of posts by the design team. Every other Saturday we will be sharing a few snapshots of some of our favorite, prettiest storage ideas for scrapbooking supplies from our own scrap spaces. The ideas are not meant to only be pretty, but effective to use also.

These few snapshots are meant to make you smile, and maybe even sigh a little while you think - so pretty!!  Maybe they will get your creative juices flowing and you will run to your space and want to adapt a few of these ideas for your own use.  Maybe you do not need ideas, and you will run to your space and want to scrap instead.  Either way - enjoy!

Her mini-jars of sequins all in row make Susan smile.  Repetition with variety is a beautiful thing.

Lynnette always keeps her eyes peeled at antique shops and garage sales for fun and useful vintage finds.  This classic Coca-Cola crate works well to store her tags, journaling and pocket page cards, while still quenching her thirst for style.

Susanne finds kitchen storage ideas work really well in the scrap studio too.  Here is a kitchen drawer insert for spice jars that she uses for little paint bottles.  Because it was meant for the kitchen, it is the perfect size to slide onto a shelf inside her kitchen-style cabinets.

Those should get your creative juices flowing!  Stay tuned, we'll be back with More Stylish Scrapbook Storage in a Snap before you know it.

But . . . wait!  If you enjoyed the photos, but immediately thought - they should see how I store this and such - it's pretty! Then you are right.  We would love to see.

If you want to join in for our next installment, please send me, Susanne, a single snapshot of a storage idea you have in your space along with 2 or 3 sentences explaining how it is effective storage.
