The 12 Days of Christmas | Five Golden Rings
Hello! Susan here to share my project based on the classic Christmas carol "The Twelve Days of Christmas".
I selected the fifth verse - "five golden rings". Gold is a precious metal and as scrapbookers, what can be more precious to us than our memories? So I decided that my page would feature five especially precious Christmas memories of mine and the design would be completely dictated by that verse.
I used my Big Shot to die-cut five circular wreaths accented with stars and then lightly misted them with some Heidi Swapp color shine in gold (of course). I placed a photo representing a memory inside each ring, and added them to the page along with my journaling I kept the embellishments simple - several trios of tiny gold stars and a washi tape border reinforce the golden theme of my verse.
I hope this inspires you to add a little golden sparkle to a holiday project. Don't forget to stop by again to see how the rest of the team interpreted their verses. Happy Holidays!
