February 2018 -Forgery on the Fourth

February's kit inspiration:

Noel Mignon Weekend in Paris Clazzic Kit

I see a feminine kit with beautiful soft colors, pretty details & whimsical images.
Easy forgeries? Cute striped bows, a fun "Paris" bingo card, lots of other fun cards to play with.

What have our Master Forgers found or figured out to help you this month?

Lisa spent some time on Pinterest and came up with the following printable links.

Printable hot air balloons
Outline flower paper
Floral digital stamp
Vintage inspired tags
Paris city view to colour in
Printable tickets
Paris themed stickers
Parisian doodles

And she had a go at the ribbon bows. As always, simple and quick but there are a few extra photos to see over on her blog here  ;-)

Laura also had a go at recreating the bows in the kit "i didn't have any ribbon in my stash, but did have fabric tape. So i simply cut a long length, folded it in half so it was no longer sticky and made it into bows."

"I also loved the hydrangea die cut that was featured in the inspiration kit, but had nothing similar. I did however have a Heidi Swapp project life card with an equally lovely flower, so simply fussy cut it out!"

Cindy made a few of the clear frames that were in the inspiration kit using a stamp set, inks and embossing powders.

Kelly made her own doilies using her Silhouette machine. She liked how these turned out, although she did not enjoy peeling off all of the tiny pieces of leftover paper on her cutting mat!

We love seeing how the simplest of ideas can make the prettiest elements for your kit. Why not give one of our ideas a try and join in the fun!

Don't forget to come back again on 6th for some mini-kit inspiration as well as the challenges on 12th and 18th.

If you create any of your own forgeries, make sure you share with us! We love to see your creations and projects.  You can do this by using the Link-Up page here on the blog, posting in the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Facebook Community Group or on Instagram (find us @counterfeitchallenge and share with #counterfeitchallenge )
