September 2018-Follower Showcase

Hello, everyone! It's time to showcase a member who caught our eye and this month and it is Leanne of Inkedinkscrap. Loved that she made the inspiration kit work for her, as it's real challenge for those that live South of the equator. She said: "The kit features many elements which are foreign to those located in Australia, such as autumn pumpkins, racoons, bears and pumpkin pie! For us Aussies, Autumn is quite green due to our non-deciduous native trees" She put together a fantastic kit

and she did some awesome forgeries too:

She used some of those forgeries on this double page layout:

with making that shaker style pocket on the left hand side of the layout for falling leaves Wow that is so cool!

So far this month she's created 7 layouts with this kit and there is still time this month to get a couple more in if she wanted. A girl after my own heart with a huge kit to play with, so glad she joined in with us this month.

You can see more of her layouts that she created from her fun kit over at her blog Inkedinkscrap.

We love seeing your work, so please share your kits and projects with us. You can do this by the Link Up page here on the blog, posting in the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Facebook Community Group or on Instagram (find us @counterfeitchallenge and share with #counterfeitchallenge).

  4. Hello everyone, thank you for picking me as the showcase member. Sorry, I am just responding but it is school holidays in Australia and I have been away for 5 days doing a rural Art Trail with friends. I am thrilled that I was selected and appreciate it, and being my first attempt at the CKC I am very surprised. It is a great challenge and I love how it is based around using up your stash, trying new things, getting creative, and sharing with people who are passionate about what they do. I will try to get a few more layouts completed before the end of the month but it may be a struggle as have my grandson staying. Thank you again :)
