September 2018-Mini Kit Reveal

September can be a crazy busy month with school starting and all the extra activities that go with school. Maybe you're doing some harvesting this year and just don't have that time to pull together that big kit. Maybe then a Mini Kit will get you through the month and give you just enough creative inspiration to do those fall projects.

Check out the mini kits that Master Forgers Julene and Lisa have created.

Julene has chosen this (very)mini kit. Not even a full sheet of paper.

Last year she started a smash book for her travels through the USA, and with her current trip she can add more pages on her return.
Here are 3 pages made ready for her return.(no photos or journaling yet.)

Master Forger Lisa took the mini-kit challenge to make up a small autumnal kit to continue her attempt to catch up on her Project Life pages from 2017!

Here's her kit - all these papers are from her scrap basket and look more than they really are. There are a handful of embellishments and a couple of little extras found her way in as she made up her November 2017 spread.

And here are her November spreads. It was a special birthday month and so there are lot of people photos this time around which makes her happy! However, it's still taking her too long to make these pocket pages so all tips, tricks and constructive criticism for making this process easier would be very welcome!

2017 is still not complete but it's getting there - I think I have three months to do from scratch and two months have been started. Phew - way too long! 2018 might be easier as we haven't done so much this year.

You can find more detail shots and a bit more info over at her blog here.

We love seeing your work, so be sure to share your kits and projects with us. You can do this by using the Link Up page here on the blog, posting in the Counterfeit Kit Challenge Facebook Community Group, or on Instagram (find us @counterfeitkitchallenge and share with #counterfeitkitchallenge).

Thanks so much for stopping by! We can't wait to see what you create this month!

  3. Hi! I love the examples, and that they are so different from each other... I wish I had tips for Project Life but this is my first year doing it and even though I love it, I am behind and having a few (minor) struggles myself! Good luck!
