October 2018 - Counterfeit Kit Challenge Kit Reveal

So here's an end of roaming
On eves when autumn nighs:
The ear too fondly listens
For summer's parting sighs,
And then the heart replies.
- A. E. Houseman

Autumnal greetings from your host, Master Forger Leslie!
I'd like to introduce our October Guest Designer.

Becca Sadler
"Hi, from the USA heartland! I’m Becca S of the crafting blog, Beccas Heart for Creativity.
Four loves of mine besides God and my husband Joe are teaching, learning, Family and Consumer Sciences (FACS), and all things related to home economics like crafting, sewing, and interior decorating. That led me to become a certified home economics/FACS teacher.
With support and encouragement from the women in my family I dabbled in many craft and sewing projects starting at age nine. I got involved in 2010 with challenges and swaps and have since really loved all aspects of paper-crafting! Tags, bookmarks, ATCs, pocket pages and various formats of scrapbooking, and especially cards are my most common creations.
I have had a renewed interest in crafting in the past 13 months. It became part of my physical and de-stress therapy through some very trying circumstances. Months of cardiac rehab three times a week and two weekly design team deadlines shaped my life into a cycle of eat, sleep, a little exercise, a little crafting, and repeat. In late July I decided to end my DT commitments so that I could have more flexibility in my schedule to dabble in new & different techniques, styles, and products.
I’m enjoying being a recent participant in CKCB. It’s making me look at all my old supplies in a different way. Thanks, Master Forger Lori Stroup, for introducing me to Counterfeit Kit Challenge - I can’t believe I’m the October Guest Designer! I hope my October 2018 paper-crafted creations will have you thinking of “All Things Autumn!”
Becca is quite new to CKC but has jumped in headfirst with great enthusiasm. She reminds me of my own CKC Guest Designer experience back in May 2012.

On to the inspiration kit reveal!

This was a bit tricky, as I wanted to introduce The Wild Hare Kits to you. They are not a monthly kit club. Their mission? "We create hand-curated paper crafting kits which allow crafty people everywhere the freedom, flexibility, and time to create to their heart’s content."

You can order a kit as often or as little as you need, and it is assembled from your own instructions! You start by filling out a personal profile and can change it each time you order. Doing a vacation book? Say so! Ready to put your December Daily project together? Voila!

Who DOESN'T need a creativity personal shopper?!?

And I am SO EXCITED to reveal that The Wild Hare Kits owner, Alison Girling, has generously offered 10% off Deluxe Kits for our group with the coupon code CKC1018 at checkout!

This month we are counterfeiting the custom kit created for September's Wild Hare Kits Guest Designer, Mandi Holmes. Her short unboxing video is HERE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTzq7OciDVk
