We're right at the beginning of a brand new year! For our first challenge this month, we'd like you to scrap about something new. Did you get something new over the holidays? Have you recently experienced something new? Are you looking forward to something new this year? You can even twist the challenge and feature some new items on your project.
Let's see what our Guest Designer Meagan and Master Forgers Cindy and Julene made for this challenge.
Here's what Meagan had to say about her first project for this challenge: "Eighteen months ago we became parents again with the birth of our baby girl. Our youngest was 7 years old! In many ways we felt like we were starting all over again. It has been a fun adventure and I was happy this challenge helped me get this page completed for her baby book."
Meagan completed a second page for the challenge, too! "Scraps were all over my desk after creating the above page so I decided to make the 2019 intro page for my pocket photo journal. I was so happy to use those large numbers! They have been in my stash for years."
"I made my first shaker card and loved the end result. All I did was fill the pocket then stitch the top of it closed. It was so easy and I can't wait to do it again."
"I hope you find time to ring in the new year with some new projects!"
Cindy made a layout documenting a new wreath (sort of) she received.
Check out her full post here.
Julene found a blog about craft knife cutting.

She cut out the circles and shapes to fit 6 photos of squirrels on this page.
The 7 gypsies typewriter keys are new also.
Don't forget to show us what you make! You can add it to our Link-up page, post it in our Facebook Community, or share it on Instagram (use #counterfeitkitchallenge and #ckcjanuary2019). We love to see your projects!
