March 2019 - Challenge #2 - Blue Skies & Butterflies

I was so happy to come across this month's inspiration kit over at Scrapbook and Cards Today (Blue Skies & Butterflies from spring 2018) - full of everything I connect with this time of year. The colours, the motifs, the patterns - just gives me an all round feeling of warm sun and spring blossoms.

And therefore, I thought it was ideal for a double dose of inspiration this month.

Challenge #2: Make the name of our inspiration kit itself, "Blue Skies & Butterflies", your project inspiration today!

Let's see where those blues skies took our Master Forgers...

Master Forger Cindy pulled out her Page set 2 and pictures of the Montana Skies.

You can check out her double page layout here

Master Forger Leslie started with a sketch & a special vacation photo:

Master Forger Lori thinks of warm sunny days when she hears "blue skies & butterflies", so she created a traveler's notebook spread about an outside adventure with her granddaughter. You can read more about it on her blog here.

Master Forger Laura took the prompt literally! She scrapped a butterfly against a blue sky photo on blue sky cloud paper!

Head over to Laura's Instagram here to keep up with her scrappy adventures!

We always love to see your work, so please share your kits and projects with us!

You can use our Monthly Link-up page, post them in our Facebook Community

  1. Oh these are all fantastic. This is a very inspiring prompt. It prompted me to start a page with some of the prettiest papers in my kit, but I haven't found a stand-out photo to use yet. Time to go look again.

  2. Love them all!! Blue Skies and butterflies are right around the corner (fingers crossed)!

    1. WE had them all day today and yesterday so fingers crossed for you!

  3. Cool! Love this literal prompt for us to be creative with our March kits!!! Woo-hoo!!!

  4. These are all awesome. Might have to do this challenge soon.
