April 2019 - Challenge #1 - April Showers!

Welcome back to the first of two challenges this month to help you use up your Counterfeit Kit Challenge kit and have fun at the same time!

Let's just remind ourselves of the original inspiration kit:

Challenge #1: When we think of April, we often think of April Showers and the inspiration kit has a lot of weather elements included - rainbows, umbrellas, sunglasses, sun parasols.

Let's be inspired by weather for this challenge!

Let's see what our Guest Designer Debbie and Master Forgers Cindy, Tina, Lori & Leslie made for this challenge!

Guest Designer Debbie told us, "Now that my kids are grown and gone I have to capture photos from social media. I snagged this one from Snapchat last month, and I planned to write about her job change, but she had told me the story about the hot weather testing and that was a better story. I was skeptical about being able to meet this challenge, but it turned out that the challenge pushed me to the better story for the photo." 

I love that she challenged herself to take on the prompt in an unexpected way and to tell a deeper story! That's what this hobby of ours is all about - sometimes!

Master Forger Cindy forgot to include weather elements in her kit so she used some tags and fussy cut elements from pattern paper.
