September 2020 - Challenge #2 - Tic Tac Toe

Welcome to the 2nd challenge of the month!

Just a reminder that we are using the August 2020 Flavors of the Month August 2020 kit for our inspiration this month.

With a wide variety of elements in out kits, everything from animals to pencils, hot dogs to insects, hearts to zebras it may be a bit daunting to  figure out where to start,  I made a Tic Tac Toe grid to get you going. I pulled items from each of the kits and the categories are listed with a few ideas following. Pick your row and tell us what you are using.

Let's see what our Guest Designer Misty and Master Forgers came up for this kit inspired challenge!

You can check it out on her You Tube Channel here.

Master Forger Tracey has used the top left to bottom right diagonal and pulled the elements of Animals - racoon and bear, doiley and flowers from the tic tac toe grid. She tied it all together with a sweet photo of her youngest daughter.

Master forger Tina has used the diagonal from the top left to the bottom right. Pulling elements for the double page layout from a visit at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo to see more about this layout you can check it out here

Master Forger Laura went across the diagonal from top left to bottom right. Animal/tag/leaves.  Check out her super cute layout!!!

Master Forger Lori used the middle row across - heart shape, labels and tabs, and BBQ items. You can read all about it on her blog here.

Here's what we have coming up this month:

  • September 24th: I'll be showcasing one of the CKC community who's caught my eye this month
  • September 30th: Another Killing Kits installment to help us finish off our kits!

We always love to see your work, so please share your kits and projects with us. You can use our Monthly Link-up page, post them in our Facebook Community, or share them on Instagram (we are @counterfeitkitchallenge or tag us using #counterfeitkitchallenge and #ckcseptember2020).

Thanks so much for stopping by! We can't wait to see your kits and projects this month!
