July 2022 - Forgery on the Fourth

Just a reminder of our inspiration kit:

Citrus Twist May Round Trip Add-On

Let's see what the Master Forgers have come up with this month!

Master Forger Juliet instantly knew what she wanted to do for a forgery!  She saw the Fresh Flower patterned paper and knew she could easily forge it with a solid piece of cardstock, stamps and ink!

And here is her final page! Not the greatest photo but in real life it looks great!

Well, great minds think alike! Master Forger Leslie chose this paper to counterfeit, too!

Master Forger Tara found some Print and Cut ephemera to cut out with her Cameo!

MF Lisa was inspired by the travel ticket elements and the set of stamps so went in search of some ideas online and found this page of super cute travel themed suitcase stickers when she was putting together her July moodboard over at Supercolouring.com

And how about these super stamps featuring different cites here or here from Freepik.com? In fact, Freepik.com seems to have lots of different travel stamps and stickers - check it out for yourself! 😀

She found this great tutorial for using digital stamps which could also be a fun way to replicate the travel stamp set in the original kit. (Digital stamps can be found online but you could try these or these for fun!)

We've got  more inspiration for you for the rest of July:

  • 6th July: Mini-kit Reveal and Project Showcase - inspiration for a smaller kit or project idea

We always love to see your work, so please share your kits and projects with us. Post them in our Facebook Community, or share them on Instagram (we are @counterfeitkitchallenge or tag us using #counterfeitkitchallenge and #ckcjuly2022).
