February 2023 - Challenge # 1 - Put a Heart on It!

So glad to have you back! It is time for Challenge #1 - Put A Heart on It.   

Let's have a quick look again at the inspiration kit this month, Cocoa Daisy February 2022 - Elegance Blooms.

The Memory Making Kit has hearts as one of the icons in it. I have a larger picture of them below.

So, our 1st Challenge is to put a heart on it. This can be as simple as heart die cuts or enamel dots, a heart banner or a heart background are just a few ideas. 

Now let's see how our talented Guest Designer and Master Forgers interpreted this challenge.

Guest Designer Karen project will be posted on the Counterfeit Kit Community Facebook page.

Master Forger Tara created a mixed media layout for this challenge using her kit plus a few extra items she threw in for fun.  There's a process video on her YouTube channel as well as detailed photos on her blog, so make sure you check out both of those links. 

Master Forger Anna created a 6x8 layout using her kit and TONS OF HEARTS! The background was mixed media with ink smooshing and a little bit of stamping mixed in. You can see a process video on her YouTube channel as well. She really crams a lot of stuff on those 6x8 pages.

Master Forger Cindy added several different kinds of hearts to her layouts.
