February 2023 - Just The Gist Of It

 Welcome back to Just the Gist Of It where I hope to offer you a possible starting point for creating your kit.

 Here's a reminder of our inspiration kit this month:

I know this kit is huge especially when you include all of the add on. So to get you started : 

1. Grab a couple of scrap pieces of paper.

2. Add in a couple of 4x6 and/or 3x4 journaling cards

3. Pick one stamp

4. Pick a punch or die

My papers are all scraps with the largest being 12x8 and the smallest at 2x3, in a variety of colors from the inspiration kit. I added in 3 4x6 journaling cards and 3 2x3 journaling cards. The stamp set as hearts and words (february looks like this, FEBRUARY MEMORIES, all the gratitude for these mundane days, xoxo) and the punch is a small heart shape. 

You now have just the basic elements from the inspiration kit. Just enough to do a layout or two, a couple of pocket pages or to use in a travelers notebook. This can also be the starting point for a larger kit. Add on more paper, to go with the above, add in embellishments, more tools (stamps, punches or dies). Just remember to have fun.
